Annual Plant Sale

Our major fundraiser for the year, this sale is also a considerable outreach to the gardeners of West Newbury and beyond. Our plant inventory from local gardens includes standard, exotic cultivars and native plants. During the sale Club representatives share a wealth of advice. The majority of the Plant Sale proceeds support our scholarships.

Town Hall

This garden will be experiencing a major makeover in 2023. In concert with West Newbury Wild & Native committee, the plan is for a demonstration garden using pollinators and other native plants to attract bees, butterflies and birds.

Training Field

Site of the militia's training field dating back to the early days of West Newbury, plantings enhance and honor the war memorials and horse trough. The Training Field serves as the venue for the Club’s famous annual Plant Sale held in late spring.

The entrance to our town offices often can be found decorated with a container garden. Annual containers brighten the front sign near the road while various perennials fill the garden space in front of the large yews.
