Welcome!

The West Newbury Garden Club is a sociable group of about 80 gardeners and garden lovers from West Newbury and surrounding towns which meets once a month to socialize, share ideas and host gardening related talks. During the summer, members enjoy field trips and sharing one another’s gardens.  New members are always welcome!

The Club seeks to cultivate an interest in gardening, to aid in the conservation of natural resources, to promote civic beauty and to encourage the study of horticulture and the environment.

Gardening in a Changing Climate

The climate is changing. How are we going to keep up, stay in-the-know and be adaptable?  How can we, as gardeners and stewards of our beautiful New England advocate and protect our ecosystems while still finding beauty, peace and joy in our plant-based passions? Michele Fronk Schuckel will discuss rain gardens, vernal pools, an accelerating carbon cycle, shifting planting zones and more.
